The Gait and Clinical Movement Analysis Society (GCMAS) is an association of professionals involved in the stimulation and advancement of scientific knowledge in the field of gait and human movement analysis in both clinical and research settings. Our purpose is to promote education, professional interaction and the exchange of ideas among Society members, and encourage young investigators who have an interest in advancing the field of human motion analysis.
This website will serve as a point for dissemination of a variety of information that is relevant to our field. Individuals who are new to this field, or who are interested in learning more about movement analysis may want to examine some basic information documents that have been contributed.

While the developers of this site will actively seek sources of information for inclusion in this site, the general membership of the GCMAS is strongly encouraged to contribute items of interest. In this manner, the GCMAS homepage should remain current and of substantial value for the members of the GCMAS, as well as anyone else with an interest in analysis of human movement.
Of course, anyone with an interest in movement analysis, who is not already a member of GCMAS, is hereby extended an invitation to join our society.
